Terms of service

A hosted web analytics service: a script you put on your site, a collector that records what it sends, and a dashboard that reads it back. It runs on Cloudflare's network.

The service is provided as it is. It is a small product run by a small team, without an uptime guarantee or a support commitment, and the price reflects that. If you need a contractual SLA, this is not yet the right tool and it is better to know now.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password and any API keys to yourself. Two-factor authentication is available in Account → Security and is worth turning on.

One person, one account. You may add as many sites as your plan allows.

• Use Inqetra to collect data you have no right to collect, or to track people who have not been told a site measures them.
• Send personal information through custom event properties. Those are yours to choose and nothing stops you; it is still not what they are for.
• Attempt to identify individual visitors from what the service returns, or to defeat the daily-rotating hash that makes that impossible.
• Resell the service, or use it to build a competing one.
• Attack the service, or use it to attack anyone else.

Accounts doing any of this can be suspended. Where the reason is not obviously deliberate, we will say what it is first.

Free

No card, no expiry. It stays free.

Pro and Scale

Billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, in advance. Yearly costs less than twelve months of monthly.

Trial

14 days on either paid plan. The card is charged when the trial ends, not before, and cancelling during it costs nothing.

Cancelling

Takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep every paid feature until then, and no refund is due for the remainder because nothing further is charged.

Price changes

Existing subscriptions keep their price until the following renewal, and you will be told before it happens.

Failed payments

Stripe retries. If it does not succeed, the account moves to Free rather than being closed — the data stays, the window shortens.

The analytics collected from your sites are yours. Inqetra stores and processes them to run the service, and does nothing else with them: they are not sold, not shared, and not used to train anything.

Deleting a site stops collection and revokes its keys. Deleting your account removes your account data. Events already written to storage age out on the retention schedule rather than being erased on the spot — they carry no identifier that outlives its day, so there is nothing in them that is anybody's.

You can cancel or delete your account at any time, from the dashboard, without asking anyone.

We can suspend or end an account for the reasons above, or if running it becomes unlawful. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give notice, stop charging, and leave the export working for long enough to take your data with you.

Inqetra is an analytics tool. It measures traffic; it does not make decisions, hold anything you cannot lose, or sit in the path of your site's visitors — if the collector is down your site still works, you simply do not get the numbers.

Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue or lost data beyond that.
